All photographs included on this website were made using medium format photographic colour reversal film. Carl Hayden is currently working with analog black and white negative film. He uses both 6x7cm medium format, and 4x5 inch large format. Recent black and white photographs currently being exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy Annual Exhibition were made with a large format view camera. Black and white prints are hand printed using archival printing methods onto double weight fibre-based photographic paper.
